Five players from the SKC Academy Regional Player Pool (from 4 different Academy Affiliate clubs) joined the U12 SKC Academy this past month as they competed in the GA Cup in late November.

Four Academy Affiliate players were selected by their club directors & coaches to attend an elite experience with Generation Adidas International Select Programs such as Ajax, Real Madrid and Olympique Lyonnais.

A total of 64 players affiliated with Sporting Kansas City youth clubs (Academy Affiliates and SKC Academy) signed their national letter of intent this past Wednesday (November 14, 2018) to player soccer collegiately. In the states of Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas, eleven Academy Affiliate teams have placed in their respective State Cups; 4 Sporting Iowa teams, 3 Sporting Omaha FC teams and 3 Sporting Blue Valley teams. Congratulations to all the teams and best of luck next season!

With two Academy Affiliates being accepted into the girls’ Developmental Academy program, Sporting KC is expanding and growing its girls’ developmental pathway more than ever right now.

On September 11, a group of our Academy Affiliate coaches came together for a fall observation day where the coaches observed a full day of trainings. The coaches had the opportunity to attend the Sporting KC training, Swope Park Rangers training, SKC Academy trainings, and Center of Excellence program training throughout the entire day.

Each of our 14 Academy Affiliate clubs sent 2 boys & 2 girls to Kansas City for a weekend to participate in our All-Star Experience. Take a look into the weekend & see what special treatment & opportunities these players received. 

Sporting KC Youth Soccer’s Academy Affiliate program welcomes Sporting Missouri Valley and Sporting Missouri Valley North, joining Sporting Lee’s Summit as an Academy Affiliate in Western Missouri.

March 16-18, Sporting KC Youth Soccer hosted our annual Spring Academy Affiliate All-Star Experience here in KC. Over 100 hand-selected kids from our Academy Affiliate clubs got to participate in an exclusive experience with Sporting KC.
