CLUB BIO
Located in Springfield, Missouri, Sporting Springfield offers opportunities and experiences for a wide range of ages – from 3 years old through high school.
Sporting Springfield strives to develop elite competitors on and off the soccer field, helping young players find a love for soccer and foster their development.
Additionally, Sporting Springfield has had the unique opportunity to introduce their club to many first-generation soccer families, helping to educate both players and parents.
CLUB RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Boys Team accepted into ECNL Regional Heartland League
- 2007 Girls participate in the Girls Academy League
- Moving to a new facility – Betty and Bobby Allison Sportstown with 4 turf fields, 8 Bermuda grass fields, two indoor fields and more
COACH SPOTLIGHT
Mark Campbell
Assistant Youth Director
Mark has recently joined the club as the Assistant Youth Director. He has an incredible passion and knowledge for the game of soccer that he is passing on to our players.
Mark has a bright future in coaching and Sporting Springfield is lucky to have him!
Kayleigh Putnam
Assistant Girls Director & Coach
Kayleigh has taken on the new role of Assistant Girls Director, while continuing to coach our 2009, 2008, 2006 and 2003 teams.
Kayleigh plays for Springfield Demize as part of the United Women’s Soccer pro-am league and is a role model for our players. She is also a mentor for our high school and college-bound athletes.

Camden Meyer
2003 Sevilla Goalkeeper
Camden has been a great model of hard work and growth over the years at the club. He has put himself in a position to not only help his team win awards, but he’s also accomplished individual achievements as well.
Camden is on the radar of several colleges to continue his playing career at the next level.
Camden was named to the Missouri High School State Player of the Year Watchlist.
Madison Akers
2008 Napoli Central Midfielder
Madison is a true leader on her team, helping her teammates buy into a positive culture and a change in mentality. Her leadership contributed to the 2008 Napoli Girls winning their bracket at Sporting Classic.
Madison was also selected to represent Sporting Springfield at the Fall Academy Affiliate All-Star Experience with Sporting KC.
