October Academy Affiliate Club Spotlight: Sporting Omaha FC

Sporting Omaha FC is a non-profit full service youth soccer club that offers all levels of play from 4 to 19 years of age. SOFC develops complete soccer players with key core values which we believe provide our players the best opportunity to succeed at their next level whether that is high school, college, professional soccer or life outside competitive sports. SOFC became a Sporting Kansas City Academy Affiliate back in 2013.

Vision: Cultivating a passion for the game while developing character in coaches, players and parents.

Core Values: Integrity, leadership, discipline, humility, accountability and communication.

In conjunction with Omaha’s Local Health Department, SOFC hosted a 150 team tournament over Labor Day 2020 that spanned four soccer complexes across the metro area. This maximized social distancing for players and family attending.
