New indoor location added for Sporting Stripes in the Northland

Sporting Stripes – Sporting KC Youth’s most popular beginner soccer program – is debuting at The Competitive Edge Training Center in the Northland this winter, providing more opportunities for toddlers and young children from the KC area to learn the game of soccer.

Designed for kids aged 2-5, Sporting Stripes helps new players learn the foundational basics of soccer while also reaching important developmental milestones. Sessions are held in an individualized class setting and led by a Sporting KC Youth coach.

Sporting Stripes was first introduced to the Northland this fall, with outdoor sessions held at the newly opened Central Bank Sporting Complex.

Located on State Route 92 in Platte City, Competitive Edge Training Center is a multi-use indoor/outdoor sports facility serving student-athletes of all ages in the Northland.

Parents can choose from two 4-week indoor sessions, allowing players a chance to learn the game and stay active away from the outdoors this winter. All sessions at Competitive Edge will be held on Saturday mornings. For a full list of session dates, see below or visit SportingKCYouth.com/SportingStripes.
