Become a Soccer Referee

Are you interested in becoming a soccer referee?

You can become a sanctioned U.S. Soccer referee, certified through the Missouri Referee Development Program!

Certification through the Missouri Referee Development Program will allow you to be assigned to any game as a referee or an assistant referee in all youth and/or adult games sanctioned by the United States Soccer Federation.

Participants must register online and complete the subsequent online session & test before attending the in-person class.

Yes, you must be at least 13 years of age to enroll in a referee education course. Most local leagues also mandate a minimum age for refs, so make sure you check the position requirements for any assignment if you are under 18.

No, this course is open to all!

Yes! As a certified referee, you can choose to work any sanctioned game you’d like, even if it is outside of the state of your certification.
