Registration now open for Sporting KC 5v5 Fest, a one-day soccer festival benefitting The Victory Project

Sporting Kansas City announced today that the club will host its second annual Sporting KC 5v5 Fest, a one-day soccer festival benefitting The Victory Project.  

Sporting KC 5v5 Fest will take place on May 25, 2024, at the world-class Central Bank Sporting Complex in Kansas City, Missouri, and is open to 1st & 2nd grade recreational teams and U8-U13 competitive teams.  

Sporting KC 5v5 Fest is the perfect opportunity to have fun and support a great cause. Proceeds from the tournament support The Victory Project’s Soccer Assist Grant. Last year’s tournament provided $10,000 to the grant. 

The Soccer Assist Grant provides individuals, clubs and organizations with the funding needed to participate in soccer. Grant funding can be used toward a wide range of eligible expenses, including club, league and tournament fees, as well as uniforms, equipment and transportation. 

Sporting KC 5v5 Fest teams can have a maximum of 10 players per team with four field players and one goalkeeper on the pitch at a time. Each team will compete in three matches during the one-day event. The tournament will also include Sporting KC player appearances.
