Sporting KC Expands Youth Soccer Program Offerings to Wyandotte Sporting Fields in Kansas City, KS

KANSAS CITY, MO (November 13, 2019) — Sporting KC Youth Soccer has announced the expansion of youth programs, Sporting Recreation League and Sporting Stripes, to Wyandotte Sporting Fields in Kansas City, KS for spring 2020.

 

Sporting Recreation League (KCK)

Sporting Recreation League is designed for youth soccer players of all skill levels, offering a high-quality and fun soccer experience with an emphasis on sportsmanship and developing a passion for the game.

Sporting Recreation League (KCK) is open to all Pre-K and Kindergarten boys and girls beginning in spring 2020. The season will kick off the first weekend of April and run through end of May. All teams will be coached by parent or guardian volunteers. Sporting KC Youth Soccer will support and educate each coach by providing coaching education clinics.

Player and team registration for Sporting Rec League – KCK is now open with Early Bird pricing available through January 19, 2020.

 

Sporting Stripes

Sporting Stripes is a beginner-based soccer program for 2-4 year olds that creates a safe and fun learning environment for children to become engaged with soccer at its foundation. Children will practice reaching basic early developmental milestones in balance, coordination, socialization and emotional development.

Sporting Stripes will run simultaneously with Sporting Recreation League on Saturday mornings from early April to the middle of May. All sessions in this 6 week period will be outdoors at Wyandotte Sporting Fields.
